During the current environment we have made additional investments to prepare Volo Aero for the return to a new normal. In the last 8 weeks we have purchased and installed an overhead hoist system to our clean line. As we see a change in some of the repair products we support we have added an additional aqueous wash system so that we can separate our titanium based products. Following the delivery of our Empire media blast unit we have now taken the opportunity to upgrade one of our Moore Jig Grinders to a newer model switching out one of our old faithful machines. Our new Ultimaker S5 3D printer has been making an impact in fixturing for our inspection cell as well as fabricating some replacement parts for obsolete gages.
We are also making good strong progress on our honeycomb products as we support both Aerospace and industrial customers on large honeycomb ring repairs.
