As a Rolls Royce T56 Authorized Repair Facility (ARF), we have extensive repair capability covering over 70 different parts for the RR 501 D-22 / T56 engine. Ranging from gear repairs to compressor and turbine wheels down to engine hardware components. We offer a cost effective solution to our customers to reduce the cost of their engine overhauls.
ITAR registered and with the systems in place to meet the CMMC level 3 requirements we provide essential services to the military market.
In addition to our capabilities on the Rolls Royce 501-D22 T56 we support additional programs on Pratt and Whitney F-100, F-135, Rolls Royce AE1107, and LRU components for Collins Aerospace.
As an FAA and EASA certified repair facility with AS9110:C certification, Volo Aero MRO has historically supported the repair of components for accessories on Hamilton products. Volo Aero MRO has recently pivoted its product offerings to include the support of civil engine part repairs on the PW4000, CF6-80C2, CFM56 and V2500 models. With extensive experience in the application and machining of coatings such as plasma, HVOF and chrome to tight tolerances.
As Volo Aero MRO continues to grow, we have moved into our new 16,000 square foot facility in May 2022. We continue to improve our capacity both in size and throughput as well as capabilities to support our global customer base. In 2023 we will be adding in-house Magnaflux NDT capabilities to bring more processes internally to better control turn time.
We Currently support repairs on the following engine and accessory platforms: Pratt and Whitney PW4000, NEO (GTF), V2500, GE CF6-80C2, CFMI CFM56-3, CFM56-7B, Rolls Royce XWB .
With repairs on Engine hardware, shafts, supports and products requiring tight tolerance machining coating repairs. Our extensive knowledge of repairs and processes has allowed Volo Aero MRO to develop several niche repairs to improve repair yields.
As part of our solutions offering, Volo Aero MRO provides scrap replacement programs to our customers using USM from our inventory to ensure timely delivery of material to our customers. This solution reduces cost and time with our customers as they can receive parts back without delay and without additional administration costs.
Volo Aero MRO also maintains an inventory of parts that we repair outside of our scrap replacement agreements which is available for outright sale.
With our extensive network of customers Volo Aero MRO also provides the service of USM trading for material we do not repair internally. This material can be whole engine assets LLP’s (life limited parts) and vanes and blades. Material will be supplied either in AR or Overhauled condition depending on customer requirements.
